Announcing His Declaration!

” I will announce” says the king, “what the Lord has declared…” Psalm 2:7 GNT

If there is anything that Satan wants from us, it is that we do not tell of the Lord’s doings or of His faithfulness and goodness; it is that we have no good declarations to make; it is that we declare and proclaim negative things; it is that we do not sing of the Lord’s mercies or tell of His wondrous works. He doesn’t want us to see, experience and declare what good things God is doing in our lives. He wants to take the word of the Lord away from our mouths and fill us with negative confessions.

Many times, believers truly have issues with confessions. When we don’t give time to study, meditate and memorize God’s word, then, in critical times and moments of life, we rarely would have anything to declare or announce against the Devil’s schemes.

Truly, there are times we encounter some critical situations of life. At such, we should have more than enough words and promises of God to declare and confess even to the hearing of the devil and to the circumstances.

The Word of God is potent and in them are the victories we need. We must learn to have it stored up in our hearts and regularly confess them.

There is always a word for every season or situation. Don’t join your confessions or announcement or declarations to what the devil is doing or intends to do. Don’t proclaim what the devil wants done. Don’t confess negative but declare the word of God.

In the passage above, the psalmist said “I will announce what the Lord has declared..”

What has the Lord declared about you? What are His promises towards you and your circumstances? Let those be your announcement; let them be your confession; let it be your meditation; let it be what you act upon; let them be your declaration!

It is my prayer that in our  lives and circumstances, there shall be a performance of what the Lord has declared.  May the testimonies of the Lord’s doings never cease from our lips. Amen!
